Narrative Paragraph
WELCOME BACK !!
The narrative paragraph
These types of
paragraphs tell a story. Also, narrative paragraphs are used in fiction to narrate unfolding
events, but also describe a sequence of actual activities.
When narrative
paragraphs resemble fiction, the writer has greater freedom to write in the
style of preference. You can use the narrative style in the first person, or
you can tell a story from a non-personal point of view.
The narrative
paragraph usually contains:
- ·
Background
of story
- Beginning of story
- Middle of story
- End of story
The prewriting
technique that we saw in the class was the list, in this case each part of the
paragraph was separated and the list of ideas for each segment was made. Then,
it is necessary to start writing a paragraph in a logical way.
An easy method to
compose this type of paragraph is to talk about a personal experience. It is
necessary to ask yourself key questions that will help to expand the ideas.
This week the homework
was about writing an experience using the narrative paragraph structure.
