PREWRITING
WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
The Prewriting Process
Today, I will share with you my experience learning about prewriting techniques.
It is necessary to understand that the writing process helps us organize our ideas to achieve our goals. In the prewriting stage, we decide what to write about, start collecting ideas, choose a good topic, and organize the details.
If you have a general topic, the narrowing
process will be necessary to delimit the ideas to avoid adding irrelevant
information, which is better for understanding.
Writing is not an easy task. It takes time
and dedication to obtain the result we are expecting. To help us with the
prewriting process; there are different techniques like the brainstorming.
Brainstorming types:
MAPPING
Mapping is a technique that allows you to
create a relationship between ideas by linking them to the main topic and
helping you to organize your information and thoughts.
Listing is a technique that allows you to
write some ideas, phrases, or words making a list that will help you to have a
better panorama of the aspects that you already manage about the topics and
some others that it is necessary to research.
Freewriting is a technique that allows you
to stay focused on your topic for a specific time. You start writing your ideas
without stopping or correcting the text. The most important thing is to generate
all kinds of ideas about the topic.
Those are the techniques I learned this
week during the class, hoping to manage them very well to improve my writing
skill.
