INTRO-ABOUT ME

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Génesis Vásquez, I will be sharing my journey through English Composition class.

I want to share a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Usulután. When I was little, my family started attending a Baptist Church in our community. This church participated in the mission field, and I grew up listening to different preachers from the United States.

 When I was 15 years old, my Pastor encouraged me to become an active servant and help as an interpreter. 

It was hard at the beginning because I had never studied English. All the knowledge I had, came from what I had learned by listening to preachers and through the Bible. That is how my love for the English language began and for interpretation. 

Now, I am studying for a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation of the English Language. I want to take advantage of every teaching and do my best to become a good student and a better interpreter. To be sincere, I am a little bit nervous about taking English Composition Class because I know I have so many things to improve but, willing to learn as much as I can.
